Seven days of gaming news

On Monday, The Witcher 3 was delayed once again so that the CD Projekt team could ensure the game was what fans were expecting and Street Fighter V got more details and a cool gameplay video.

At the same time, we heard more from FIFA 15 fans who were asking for gameplay changes, and the creators of Rust revealed a new title.

On Tuesday, more info on the new weapons in The Dark Below expansion for Destiny was offered and the team talked about character imports for a potential sequel.

We also learned that the Xbox One would try to compensate for the loss of Street Fighter V and that more content was currently being prepared for Battlefield 4.

On Wednesday, the second patch for Dragon Age: Inquisition was launched, solving some issues, and it immediately introduced a range of new bugs, mostly graphics based.

Microsoft was also busy announcing that a new version of Flight Simulator would be launched the next week and leaking details about a new Christmas-themed promotion with some solid deals.

On Thursday, info was offered on the eSports focus of the coming Halo 5: Guardians and Hello Games talked about the multiplayer aspect of No Man’s Sky.

At the same time, we learned about a live-action mini-series which would accompany the launch of Rise of the Tomb Raider and a new NES-related project showed up on Kickstarter.

On Friday, Valve introduced an auction system for its Steam holiday sale, which was quickly exploited, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare received a free play weekend on the same service and we saw a leak about a Remastered edition of Borderlands just as the Xbox One broke the long-term domination of the PlayStation 4 in North America.

Saturday, we found out Destiny bans were being issues for modified consoles, GTA V would get holiday-themed DLC on December 23, and that Redline was the first expansion for DriveClub.
