A Fistful of Gun, an indie western game that was released as a freeware alpha some time ago, will get a full-fledged release next year, as developer FarmerGnome has struck a deal with publisher Devolver Digital to improve and re-release the experience on PC.

Devolver Digital has been striking plenty of important partnerships with independent developers worldwide, starting with Vlambeer for games like Luftrausers and continuing with Free Lives for the upcoming Broforce.

Now, the company has confirmed that it's partnered with FarmerGnome to release the full version of A Fistful of Gun, the freeware western game it's already deployed onto the web.

The full-fledged edition of the game will feature 11 unique playable gunslingers with different abilities and control schemes and the possibility of teaming up with others to play online or offline via the cooperative mode. Up to eight players are supported and you can expect plenty of mechanics to be added over the regular edition.

The game is scheduled to appear in the middle of 2014 for the PC platform. However, until then, Devolver and FarmerGnome will bring it to PAX Prime 2014 at the Indie Megabooth.

Until then, check out some pretty impressive screenshots below, showing off the different characters and the pixelated action.
