Firmware version 1.0.2.0 for the PowerShot S110 camera from Canon is now available for download from Softpedia.

The PowerShot S110 has a control ring that is used by various functions. An issue that did not allow the focal length to be adjusted while turning the ring slowly, in a click-by-click manner, has been solved although this phenomenon does not always occur with every affected product.

Another fix has been made regarding the iOS pairing issues. Now, the camera will not disconnect after one minute when the PowerShot S110 is set as an Access Point and an iOS device is connected to that AP.

Canon's PowerShot S110 is a small camera, perfectly suited for vacations or any non-professional use. Its main feature is the built-in WiFi, which can connect to any iOS or Android running device. Via the Camera Window application for these devices, content present on the camera can be shared in an instant.

Below is the link to the firmware. Download, install and stay “updated one minute ago.”
