A Fashionable Night with a Sporty New Audi

Last night Porsche Romania launched the new generation of the sporty and stylish TT coupe.

The new car was presented to the Romanian public in a very exclusive club and those present thought it looked better than the previous generation. Also, given Audi's new creation, it is going to be a very difficult task to choose between its TT and the competition from Mercedes (SLK), BMW (Z4) and Porsche (Boxter).

Even though the old car had some problems at the level of the running gear, the car performed very well in a segment that was already crowded with many powerful and sporty cars. The new car is going to perform even better than its predecessor, because of the exclusive technical details that are going to make this two seater a powerful presence in the segment. So the most important new feature of this TT is of course the new design line.

The car looks good from any point of view. The Audi designers tried and succeeded to make a car with a very muscular look, which tells you that it is capable of high performances. The new range of sporty wheels and the overall image of the car, very lowered and expressive, is the thing that would make the difference between this TT and the competition. Inside, the Spartan design and the touch of the older TT have vanished, and now, the car has a touch of luxury.

You won't find on the dash the old sound system hidden behind an aluminum panel, the owner of this new TT will have every gadget at his fingertips. This also applies to the new on board navigation system and the automatic air conditioning. The seats are sporty and offer a very good idea of what lies under the hood.

As entry level, the new Audi TT is available with a two liter turbo engine TFSI, the same engine from Volkswagen Golf GTI. The maximum power of 200 hp and the torque level of 280 Nm are numbers that will drive this TT at very high speeds. For those who want a more capable engine, Audi is offering a bigger and more refined one, the 3.2 liter FSI power plant. This engine has a maximum power of 250 hp and has a maximum speed of 250 km/h, which is of course electronically limited.

The running gear of the new generation of Audi TT Quattro has a new system that helps the car perform better on any road. This is called the Audi Magnetic Ride and it continuously adapts the suspension. It is capable of changing the damping characteristic to the profile of the road and the driver's gear-shifting habits within just a few milliseconds. Anyway, the evening was a complete success with a lot of distinguished people, a pr�t-a-porter fashion presentation and of course, the new and exclusive sports car from Audi.
