The drive performs well on various OSes but not excellent and it will work wherever you can find a Desktop or Laptop with an USB Port, but only Windows supports the Synchronized Backup Software.
The gadget also works with Mac OS 9.X or later and also with Linux Kernel 2.4 or later but you will need a driver for the device to be recognized on your Mac. Linux however sees it as a mass storage device so plug it in and it will simply work. The A-Data Cube also comes with an installation CD which contains the drivers and with an extension USB cable.
