South Koreans aren't at all silly and this is one thing anyone can say it has been so for many years. Now, it seems that the guys at LG are especially smart and have drawn further profit from the symbolic capital accumulated by the iconic LG Chocolate mobile phone. In other words, the design lives on in the body of the brand new LG HT972TR, one home theater system with killer looks that builds on the acclaimed shape and overall design of the
handheld.

This all-in-one piece of neat technology is in fact pretty much everything you may need in your living room, in case you're just a serious media enthusiast and will not ask for audiophile-grade features. Loaded with a CD/DVD player, the LG HT972TR sports a 5.1 architecture but can emulate as much as a 10.1 channel configuration, so there you go, a home theater-in-a-box that goes beyond the classic specs.

I really like the HT972TR...and YES: the chick rocks, too!

As far as the power is concerned, you can rest assured the LG HT972TR will deliver quite a serious blast in your room: no less than 1000W, distributed in 155W per channel and a massive power of 225W for the subwoofer, all sworn to have your house rocking in just an instant, with either the wildest of parties or the intense action movies.

The LG HT972TR can run with 10180p upscaling video and sports HDMI and USB Plus ports; it can play MP3 and WMA audio files, JPEG images and DivX videos, from DVD±RW, DVD±R, DVD (PAL/NTSC), CD-R and CD-RW sources, being compatible with pretty much anything around.

Nice Korean model...of a home theater, that was!

One more fantastic thing is the fact that the LG HT972TR retains the uber-cool touchscreen commands and their functionality, things that have made the LG Chocolate phones such a coveted item over the last years. No price and no further tech details, but if you can read Korean, you can access the official product page. And even if I can't speak Korean, I guess that the LG guys will understand me pretty well as I'll say "You Rock!".
