Ok, so this summer is not all about 'baby- notebooks boom' or 'Blu-ray products boom', but mostly, a media players' boom. First there was the little iPod, long time ago, and know the launches of several competitors such as Sony's Walkman, the mysterious Microsoft alliance player and so on.
Well, FusionSoft, one of the leaders in multifunctional players' production, released its really good looking media player - the Odd-i N700D.
It seems that, according to Dapreview, the just released media player has been already showcased at the famous CeBIT IT & C Fair in Hannover.
Moreover, the Korean company included a SD card slot, but it is also possible for the user to have a 2.5-inch external hard drive disk and to utilize it instead of an internal one for all the users data such as movies, pictures and everything you can imagine. As there is a lack of information, due to the fact that the manufacturer has written the press release in Korean, we couldn't discover what kind of audio formats does this little one support.
Instead, we found out that it can, of course, display images on its 7 inch screen. The review further informs that the N700D will support MPEG1, MPEG4 SP, XVID and Divx 3.x/4.x/5.x formats at a highest resolution of 720x480 pixels (max. 30 fps) and WMV7 (max resolution 320x240, 30fps), as well as WMV8/9 (320x240, 20fps).
FusionSoft has further enhanced Odd-i's functions, adding a dedicated "Picture-in-Navigation", a feature which can be used in order to find your way on the road (yes, it does have a GPS capability) and in the mean time watch a movie you like or just listen to a radio FM station.
The manufacturer said that it will be available on the Korean retail market starting June 21, and we can expect to encounter the little know-it-all at the future SEK exhibition held in Korea.
