Content Paradise, a provider of digital content for both home users and professionals, has teamed up with Bryan Brandenburg, an expert in scientific visualization, to produce a current 3D solar system. The result is really amazing (as you can see from the photo) and includes the new Solar System as defined by the International Astronomical Union as well as Pluto, Ceres and Xena (UB313).

"We're excited to expand our product line of 3D models into science and education," said Steve Yatson, VP of Content for e frontier. "The Solar System model was a logical step in bringing 3D models to science enthusiasts."

Content Paradise's Solar System is already available so you can run to the next shop, grab it, and then come home and start your great journey through the system that governs us all. Besides the "3D Solar System", a digital 3D model of the solar system, the company also released the Poser 6 for e frontier's 3D human figure art and animation.

The combination of Poser and the easy-to-use products on contentparadise.com will enable you to create professional 3D art and animation even if you are 'a raw recruit'. You can also visit other interesting science dedicated sites such as Imaginova's "LiveScience.com" and "Space.com" and you will not be sorry.
"3D is increasingly important for the visualization of space and science", said Bryan Brandenburg. He continues, "With the recent changes outlined by the IAU to the Solar System, our product provides an excellent solution to help make the transition."

The 3D Solar System model is available for $34, Poser 6 at $249.99. Unfortunately, if you want to add other celestial bodies you will have to pay $5.95 each. But, as a special offer, through August 31, 2006, Content Paradise is offering a free $10.00 coupon good on all e frontier and Poser science products.
