The Humane Society of North Texas offers reward to those who help catch the culprits

Earlier this week, a total of 92 dogs were simply abandoned along country roads in Denton County, Texas.

Because all of the animals were rather dirty and in poor health, authorities suspect that the people who abandoned them are the owners of a puppy mill who saw fit to simply rid themselves of the animals rather than abide by new state laws and provide them with appropriate living conditions.

51 of these dogs were abandoned on Monday night in the proximity of Highway 377 and Stonecrest Road, whereas the other 41 were abandoned on Tuesday, also during night time, on a road close to Sanger.

Most of them were Cavalier King Spaniels.

The Humane Society of North Texas is now asking that those who might have any information concerning these abandoned dogs and the people who used to “care” after them inform the police.

As well as this, a $500 (roughly €385) reward awaits those who help bring the culprits to justice.
