After a solid run of new features and improvements, including the new distraction-free, full-screen editor and the refreshed dashboard, WordPress.com users have had time to settle in.

Comet - is a deceivingly simple theme, its unassuming color scheme and graphical elements hide plenty of customization options and four different layouts.

Selecta - This theme is designed with photos and videos in mind. It's great for showcasing your latest creation and comes in six different color schemes. That said, it's perfectly suited for regular text posts as well.

Minimum - As the name suggests, the theme is minimalistic in its design. However, it's packed with elements and sections, perfect for a more complex blog. Minimum is a premium theme which sells for a one-time fee of $75.

Chunk - does away with fancy graphical elements in favor of bold typography and a focus on the content.

Skeptical - is an allrounder, a theme suitable for just about any blog out there, with enough options to satisfy most needs, but not complex enough that it gets in the way.

Quintus - is a modern interpretation of a classic WordPress theme. It still has the look and feel of a blog theme from heydays, but it's fused with modern features and capabilities.

Pink Touch 2 - features a simple but effective design. The elements are well spaced out, but space is not wasted, instead it simply focuses the reader on the post, be it a photo or plain text.
