A new version that was officially released today comes with an additional “error handler and a corresponding error message that catch issues related to execution attempts of applications that cannot be executed on Windows 8,” according to the official release notes.
In addition, it packs “some additional system data to the logging feature covering information about memory, if running in virtual machine, and some more important system specifications,” while also fixing minor issues and UI changes.
New Start tile icons are also included in the release, and so are performance improvements thanks to a number of code optimizations.
