14 DAY TRIAL // Today, Totalidea Software rolled out a new update for 8StartButton, an application designed as a Start button for Windows 8 and 8.1.
The fresh release brings to the table new drive types in the “File browser” screen of the start menu. Starting this build, users will be able to see removable drives as well, not just the fixed HDDs.
Also newly included in the application is the possibility to change the view style of the file browser to ‘tile’ or ‘list’ from the start menu’s settings button.
Apart from this, the developer also included some improvements, one of them being that the system drive is automatically selected in the “File browser.” Furthermore, the error handling module should work better with this revision.
Additional changes refer to minor bug fixes and updates for the language files.
