It may very well blow your mind with its set of modular cables and efficiency

There used to be a time when 80 Plus Gold was considered the highest efficiency level attainable, but that hasn't been the case for years, and Super Flower is reveling in that little fact.

The company has launched the Leadex Platinum 850W, which has an 80 Plus rating of Platinum.

Even that isn't the highest level ever. That honor goes to 80 Plus Titanium, but I digress.

80 Plus Platinum means that efficiency is of up to 90%, 94% and 91% at 30%, 50% and 100% load, respectively.

Super Flower's newest invention, the 850W model in the Leadex Platinum series, achieves that standard, just like the 750W and 1000W ones do. It's even colored in the hue of white gold.

The efficiency is just the best of its features though. There are others, like a single 70.8A rail (+12V), support for Intel low-power Core "Haswell" C-states, all electrical/thermal protections, a 140 mm fan and, of course, a fully modular cabling system.

Speaking of which, you'll find a 20+4 pin ATX connector, two 8-pin EPS connectors (one breaks into 4+4 pins), six 6+2 pin PCI-Express power connectors, ten SATA cables, one Berg wire, and seven Molex ones.

All in all, the Super Flower Leadex Platinum 850W PSU mostly justifies its admittedly high price of $220 / €159. The warranty is of 5 years in case you were wondering.
