OCZ Technology Group has definitely not been idle, even though it has been more or less silent lately, as proven by how it issued a press release meant to detail some PSUs that were seen back at CES 2011.

The 2011 International Consumer Electronics Show was the place where many products made their first appearance.

Many of them entered availability almost immediately, while others waited for weeks or are still waiting to be sent to stores.

OCZ was among the companies present at the show, and its collection of ZX power supplies has now started selling.

Currently, the line is made up of three units, with output of 850W, 1000W and 1250W, respectively.

They are compliant with the ATX12V v2.2 and EPS12V standards, have a single 12V rail each and boast active PFC (Power Factor Correction).

Other specifications include a MTBF of 100,000 hours, a 140mm ball bearing fan and support for SLI/CrossFireX multi-GPU setups.

Finally, all of them come with a modular design (users get to choose what cables to use) and the 80Plus Gold rating for their efficiency of up to 92%.

"The new OCZ ZX Series delivers on all levels with exceptional performance and efficiency as well as a sleek modular cable design that allows customers quick and easy configuration with just the cables they need," said Charlie McMenomey , PSU Product Manager at OCZ Technology.

"The fully modular design makes installation a breeze as well as helps improve airflow in systems loaded up with high performance components, and for the ultimate stability this premium PSU comes with a large diameter ultra-quiet fan design so consumers can focus on their games and applications without the distraction of fan noise."

Canadian stores are already offering the 800W, 1000W and 1250W PSUs for the prices of $179.99 $209.99 and $229.99, respectively.
