Soon, Intel will release its Haswell line of central processing units, which will prompt a new wave of PC buys and, by extension, a new string of motherboard orders.

ASRock wants to make sure it has every possible advantage, as competition will be tough.

As such, it has included in its 8 Series motherboards Dual Band 802.11ac WiFi support, as well as Bluetooth v4.0.

The platforms featuring these capabilities will be called A-Style and will communicate at up to 867 Mbps over the air, 289% faster than on 2T2R 802.11n WiFi motherboards.

Some of the A-Style motherboards will ship with Wi-SD front trays (puts 4 USB 3.0 ports on the front of the PC chassis).

An SD 3.0 card slot is designed into the tray as well. If nothing else, the Wi-SD will give some use to the empty 5.35-inch drive bays.
