Have you ever seen a walking house? If not, now you have the chance, as the video embedded below shows the moment when a group of Mennonites pick up and literally move a house in Spartansburg, Pennsylvania.

While in some modern companies moving an actual house would take a lot of planning and managing, and probably tens of office men to sketch the project, 80 Amish people joined forces and managed to do it without any complicated machines or technology.

As you can see in the footage, the large group of Mennonites entered the house, lifted it and moved the entire structure on a concrete foundation. They didn’t need a crane, they didn’t need trucks or other machinery, proving they really were self-sufficient people.

They perfectly synchronized their moves, and managed to relocate the house simply by using their force. The legs of the 80 men could be seen below the structure as they started to move it around, just like cartoon ants at a picnic.

After watching the clip you’ll understand how traditionalist Amish people have survived for so many years with little technology in the rural parts of America.

This incredible video went viral on Facebook with more than 30,000 shares.
