Microsoft’s first tablet in history comes with a pretty helpful USB port that allows you to plug in a wide array of devices, including printers, game controllers, web cameras and external hard drives.

The most important thing, however, is that you can easily connect multiple devices at the same time. The editors over at ChannelMetroTV have managed to plug in a maximum of 8 devices, with all of them fully supported by the tablet.

“If you want to plug in more than one USB accessory at once, for example a mouse and a printer, make sure you use a USB hub with its own power supply,” Microsoft explained.

In case you wish to find out whether a specific device is compatible with Microsoft’s Surface tablet, check out the Windows RT Compatibility Center available right here.
