Google has started to push the Nexus 7 tablet PC to its users and also changed the device’s availability on its Google Play website, informing us that the 8GB flavor is available and in stock.

However, the same does not apply to the 16 GB version of the slate, which is listed with a shipping timeframe of 3 to 4 weeks.

Those users who go for the 8 GB model will have to wait only 3 to 5 days for their unit to arrive, the same as it currently happens with the Galaxy Nexus.

Unfortunately, Google did not offer specific info on what causes the delay of that 16 GB model, though chances are that it experiences high demand for it.

Users who did not order the Google Nexus 7 as of yet can find it on this page on Google Play.
