While many Egyptians and other people from all around the world have celebrated the removal of Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi, not everyone is happy about it. Hackers claiming to be part of Anonymous Jordan have breached and defaced 8 Egyptian government websites.

According to HackRead, the targeted websites are the ones of the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Electricity and Energy, the National Council of Care for the Revolution Martyrs' Families and Wounded, the General Authority for Red Sea Ports, and the Supreme Council of Culture.

The sites of the Council of Ministers' slum development fund, and a couple of sites of the Ministry of Culture are also on the list of defaced websites.

On the defaced websites, the hackers have published a message in which they condemn the Egyptian people for the removal of Morsi. They claim that Morsi has done everything he could to change the country’s situation.

At the time of writing, the hacked websites were offline.
