LG Electronics is reportedly gearing up for the launch of yet another Android-based tablet PC, namely the LG G Pad, which has just leaked online with an 8.3-inch touchscreen display.

According to a post on techblog.gr, the upcoming device is said to pack a sharp display, capable of delivering a 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution, and backed by a quad-core processor.

Furthermore, the slate should sport 2GB of RAM when released, a minimal bezel, and a lightweight design, as PhoneArena notes.

Apparently, LG will pack the yet unannounced tablet PC with cellular connectivity, as well as with a SIM card slot to provide users with the possibility to make phone calls using it.

Provided that the rumors on the LG G Pad pan out, we should see the South Korean company making it official at the IFA 2013 trade show in Berlin next month, so stay tuned for more on the matter.
