7Seas Technologies Limited, an Indian mobile content developer based in Hyderabad, announced the release of Mobizill, a new mobile portal that offers free content to users from all over the world.

Currently in a Beta version, the new portal is presented as "India's first-ever universal web community of mobile Internet users" and it contains mobile games, ring tones, videos and wallpapers, most of which are offered for free. Moreover, 7Seas allows users to upload their own content and share it on the new website. Of course, in order to download or upload content, you must first create a Mobizill account (but that doesn't cost you anything).

Besides having access to all of its content, those who register on Mobizill are also offered the chance to send unlimited SMS messages with no fees – but only to other Mobizill users and only within India. Furthermore, the portal comes with a "Wap Locker" feature that allows you to download stuff directly on a mobile device and users who upload their own content have a chance to receive "surprise gifts."

Talking about the new portal, Mr. L. Maruti Sanker, managing director of 7Seas Technologies Limited, stated, "Our mobizill.com users love our service because most of the content is free, and they can have access to fun and original content to play on their mobiles, upload their own content, convert and optimize, share it with friends and family members. Who the carrier is or who is the manufacturer of the mobile and which country it belongs to doesn't matter. With mobizill.com, one can upload, share, publish and access all kinds of content for any mobile."

Mobiliz allows any registered user to upload up to 2GB of content – which means quite a lot, since we’re talking about "made for mobiles" content. The new Indian portal can be accessed at this address from a desktop PC, or at m.mobizill.com and wap.mobizill.com from about any Internet-enabled mobile device.
