"Up for bids is a brand new, VERY RARE, limited edition ORANGE Zune." This is the message accompanying various pictures of an orange Microsoft Zune digital media player that
is on sale on eBay.
Although, officially, Microsoft only announced the release of Zune in three color variants: black, white and brown, you have already been able to read reports of the existence of a
pink version of the device. The pink Zune devices are part of a limited publicity stunt from the Redmond Company.
Microsoft has packaged just 100 pink Zune media players into boxes for black, white and brown devices in order to surprise customers. "Congratulations," was written on a card inside the box. "We couldn't resist slipping you 1of 100 extremely limited edition Zune devices."
Now you are able to feast your eyes on the adjacent images revealing an orange Zune that is up for auctioning on eBay. The owner is asking no less than $750 for it. And although it has a better look to it than the pink Zune, bidders have not jumped at the occasion. To this point, the orange Zune remains unsold. So this is your chance. If you really want a Zune that stands out of the ordinary, and you have at least $750 to spare, then hesitate no longer!
Also, Microsoft informs the customers that though they bought a black, white or brown device, if they are not happy with the color of their Zune, they can contact the company and make arrangements to swap the media player according to their preferences.
