The official business launch for Windows Vista took place on November 30, at the NASDAQ headquarters in New York, but Microsoft isn't done with the corporate environment. Windows senior product manager Alex Heaton has revealed today, January 5, 2007, that the Redmond Company has scheduled no less than 74 business launch events for Windows Vista in the United States.

The first of this business launch events will begin 11 days from now, while the rest will be spread across February. Of course that - as was the case with the original business launch - Vista will not be alone. "Between January 16th and March 1st there will be 74 different business launch events for the 2007 Microsoft Office system, Windows Vista, and Exchange Server 2007 in cities across the US. Microsoft promises business and technical professional audience that will attend one of the 74 business launch events in the US, that they will enjoy first-hand access to the latest Microsoft solutions and technologies. The Redmond Company has personalized the live sessions and events in order to address IT professionals, developers, small businesses, Microsoft partners and those involved in the technology decision-making process.

"These free events are really intended for the business and technical professional audience, so if you are looking for the latest info on media center, games, or other consumer features, you won't find that. But if you are an IT pro, developer, or technology decision maker for your business you will lots of valuable information on how to adopt these new products and why you should. In addition to the breakout sessions on the new products you'll have a chance to network with your peers, Microsoft employees, and other technology companies.
