Developer Rudy Huyn confirmed the information yesterday

Rudy Huyn, one of the many prolific Windows Phone developers, has just confirmed that one of its applications recently removed from Windows Phone Store won't be making a comeback, as initially expected.

The said app, 6snap is a third-party Snapchat client that's been extremely popular on Windows Phone platform. One of the reasons Rudy Huyn has decided to create the 6snap application is the fact that Snapchat developers had no intention of releasing a Windows Phone application.

Although 6snap has been removed from Windows Phone Store a few times in the past due, along with other third-party clients, at the request of Snapchat, it always came back after a while.

Unfortunately, this seems to be the end of the road for Rudy Huyn's 6snap application, which won't be listed on Windows Phone Store again after being removed by Microsoft.

Rudy announced that his 6snap application will not be available for download through Windows Phone Store anymore via Twitter. He also said that the third-party Snapchat client won't be coming back and that it's not his choice.

Two new apps derived from 6snap will be released soon

Apparently, Snapchat kept its promise and banned all third-party clients that were using its servers, so none of them will make comeback in Windows Phone Store unless Snapchat changes its policy.

Snapchat's decision is rather weird since the company does not have an official application available for Windows Phone platform and is unlikely to launch one in the future. Still, everything is possible, so we shouldn't rule out the possibility of having an official Snapchat app for Windows Phone.

In the same piece of news, Rudy Huyn confirmed that it would release two new applications for Windows Phone, which will be derived from 6snap.

Time will tell if these apps will be able to replace 6snap successfully and whether or not they will be banned by Snapchat once again. Stay tuned for more on this one.
