Soon, owners of Windows Phone-based devices will be able to take advantage of chat capabilities inside the 6Snap application, the third-party mobile client that has brought Snapchat to their handsets.

The feature was included by Snapchat in the official clients for Android and iOS handsets last week, but it appears that it won’t be exclusive to these platforms for long.

Rudy Huyn, the developer behind 6Snap and other popular third-party apps for Windows Phone, announced last week that he would look into the functionality, and now he says that the feature is working.

Moreover, he has also shared a screenshot to prove that the capability will be included in the application. You can see it attached to this post, to make a better idea of the upcoming UI of 6Snap for Windows Phone.

The one thing that hasn’t been unveiled as of now is when exactly users might be able to enjoy the feature on their devices.

However, considering the fact that the developer is usually pushing out new updates for his application fast, we can assume that the new one will be released sooner rather than later, so that Windows Phone users can enjoy said chat capabilities too as fast as possible. Stay tuned for more details on the matter.
