This Galaxy S III model might have enjoyed far too weak demand

South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung might have cancelled all plans to bring to the market a 64 GB flavor of its flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S III.

No official info on the matter was provided for the time being, but some users who placed orders for this flavor are already reporting that they were informed that the manufacturer "has decided not to release the unit."

Apparently, demand for this model was not high enough for Samsung to actually produce it. The 16 GB and 32 GB versions, however, enjoy increased public interest.

Of course, given the fact that Galaxy S III does come with a microSD memory card slot, its internal memory can be easily expanded, but this does not mean that users won’t be disappointed.

Samsung hasn’t said a word on the matter as of now, but it might provide details on this soon.
