"Capcom is committed to making its titles
available to as wide an audience as possible, and has been building its technology base to meet that goal," said Mark Beaumont, executive vice president, officer and head of Capcom consumer software publishing in the Americas and Europe. "This announcement means that PS3, Xbox 360 and PC owners worldwide will be able to experience the latest instalment of one of Capcom's pillar franchises."

This announcement was followed by tremendous hype as well as discontent on behalf of DMC fanboys. Remember them threatening Capcom with boycotting the company? That's how popular DMC 4 is.

A teaser trailer of the game was shown at E3 2005, showing Dante as he was traveling through snow and quickly performing some fast, stylish moves. Then, at Tokyo Game Show that same year, a more substantial second trailer was released, which showed a more rugged and older Dante in a city-like setting. However, the two trailers didn't show any in-game footage, thus at the 2006 Tokyo Game Show Capcom came with a more complete trailer, along with a playable demo featuring the character Nero.

Now, these 60 new DMC 4 screenshots have just arrived from Capcom, featuring new hero Nero battling against a diverse range of enemies including the awesome boss character Berial. Also included are shots of Dante in action confirming that he will be a playable character in this highly anticipated horror-action title for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
