Prices are slashed in the US for the F9000 4K-resolution displays

One of the main issues that Ultra-High Definition television sets have, or really the main problem, is the high price of each model.

In fact, the first ones sold for well over $100,000 / €100,000, as astonishing as it sounds.

Makers of displays have been getting better though. They've even started to cut the prices of “old” UHD TVs as well.

Case in point, Samsung has slashed the tags of the 55-inch F9000 UHD TV and 65-Inch F9000 UHD TV.

The former now sells for $4,499 / €4,499, while the latter bears a tag of $5,999 / €5,999.

That means they have experienced price cuts of $1,500 / €1,500 and $1,000 / €1,000, respectively.

That's quite a step forward for such large TVs, especially when they support Samsung's Smart TV interface and use a quad-core processor, S-Recommendation engine, Smart Evolution Kit support, and Micro Dimming technology.
