The members of the Bangladesh Grey Hat Hackers collective have breached and defaced a number of 54 Israeli websites.

The attacks, carried out on the occasion of the Eid al-Adha religious holiday, have been dedicated to the people of Palestine.

“Eid Mubarak to the people of Palestine. It is Eid day here in Bangladesh but, we, the members of Bangladesh Grey Hat Hackers not wasting our time having fun. We hacked some sites and dedicated to you guys. Don’t think you guys are alone. Allah is with you,” the hackers said in a statement for the people of Palestine.

On the other hand, their statement to Israel is far different.

“How's feeling guys? Remember our name? We are Bangladesh Grey Hat Hackers. We will make your life hell. You have no rights in the cyber space & in the world. You guys are nothing more than a cancerous tumor. We will hit you again & again & again,” they wrote.

Most of the targeted sites appear to belong to various Israeli businesses, including law firms, web development companies, and web hosting-related services providers.

At the time of writing, the website have been restored to their initial state by their administrators, but it’s uncertain if the security holes that allowed the hackers to gain access to them have been patched up.
