James Bond, the film franchise, has recently turned 50, thus providing the perfect opportunity for fans and the media to stop and have a look back, in the hope of determining which was the Bondiest James Bond of all.

Much like the infographic I was telling you about a few days ago, the one above (coming straight from The Economist) also tries to compare the performances of all the Bonds throughout the years by using as point of reference trademark 007 elements.

These are, in this particular case: martinis, conquests and kills.

Pierce Brosnan was the best Bond in this sense, ranking the highest on all three counts. He’s followed by Daniel Craig (“Skyfall” is excluded from the count), Sean Connery and Roger Moore.

George Lazenby and Timothy Dalton are the bottom 2.

The latest James Bond film, “Skyfall,” arrives in theaters in the UK next Friday, and in the US on November 9.
