Shortly after publishing his autobiography, "From Pieces to Weight", 50 Cent is embarking on another mission. He is to turn again his reality into fiction, in a new series of hip-hop novellas and graphic novels about his former G-Unit buddies, such as Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo and Young Buck.
"These tales will
tell the truth about The Life; the sex, guns and cash; the brutal highs and short lives of the players on the streets", said MTV and Pocket Books, the ones that are teaming up with the rapper for the project.
Nikki Turner, who wrote "The Glamorous Life" and "A Hustler's Wife", is to sign the first novella, which is due to publishing in 2007.
"50's always been a voracious reader, whether street fiction by Donald Goines... or business books, and he's always felt like getting books out into the community that reflect the lifestyle and also encourage people to read", the hip-hop star's agent, Marc Gerald, tells E!Online.
His already published autobiography has sold until now more than 40,000 copies since the August 9 release, according to Nielsen BookScan.
