Rapper 50 Cent is being investigated for domestic violence and destruction of property after the mother of his baby accused him of punching and kicking her at her home, and then going on a rampage destroying things around the house.

In a statement to celebrity publication TMZ, the rapper has responded to the allegations made against him, insisting that there is absolutely no truth to them.

Because this is slander, the rapper’s attorney has launched an investigation into the allegations, hoping the truth will come to light this way.

“Curtis Jackson [50 Cent] denies these allegations as made against him. It is important to note, Mr. Jackson has not been arrested and there is no warrant outstanding for his arrest,” Fiddy’s attorney says.

“We have been in contact with the LA City Attorney's Office and are currently conducting our own investigation into these allegations,” the legal representative adds in the same statement.

TMZ reports that the alleged beating took place late last month, at the woman’s condo in Toluca Lake, Ca. She is no longer with the rapper but she has a child by him.

In a separate post, the celebrity publication writes that, “LAPD officers were called to the scene and the woman told cops she had gotten into an altercation with 50 and locked herself in the bedroom. 50 – real name Curtis Jackson – allegedly got so mad, he kicked down the door and kicked her, resulting in an injury.”

The star has already been slapped with 5 misdemeanor charges, 1 of domestic violence and 4 of vandalism. The police report notes that, in his rage, the rapper destroyed about $7,000 (€5,428) worth of property.

“If convicted on all counts, 50 could face up to five years in jail and $46,000 [€35,669] in fines. He is due in court to be arraigned on July 22,” TMZ adds.
