“Counting to 50 billion would take you 1600 years,” says Apple.
Another fun fact reads, “With 50 billion bricks, you could build 12 Great Walls of China.”
Other nifty anecdotes are dished out, and every one of them is accompanied by cool imagery from a relevant app.
Apple’s countdown is not just for show-off. The company has kicked off a promotion to hand a valuable iTunes gift card to the person who stops the timer, as well as more gift cards to the next 50 people who download apps after the countdown ends.
