14 DAY TRIAL // A 5-week-old kitten is now making headlines, all “thanks” to her somehow managing to survive a three-floor fall. Apparently, the cat ended up being tossed out the window during a domestic dispute.
Information shared with the public by the SPCA of Westchester says that the kitten, named Precious, suffered several injuries when hitting the ground.
The worst thing that happened to her (apart from the psychological shock, that is) was that its upper teeth pierced through the bottom of her mouth.
Having received medical care, the kitten was returned to its owner, sources say.
The incident occurred on April 7 in Yonkers and it appears that the person who threw Precious out the third floor window was the ex-boyfriend of Precious' owner.
The police are now looking for the suspect, and wish to reassure the general public that assault and animal abuse charges will be pressed against him.
