Only one day after confirming its upcoming availability, South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics has made the 5.5-inch Optimus G Pro smartphone official in its homeland market.

The device is set to become available for purchase in the country before the end of this month, with the aforementioned full HD touchscreen on the front, and with a quad-core processor packed inside.

The Android-based smartphone also sports a curved glass, which creates a so-called 2.5D effect, and is set to hit shelves in Black and White flavors, it seems.

Unfortunately, the company did not offer specific info on whether the smartphone will be released in other markets around the world as well, though it might announce more on the matter at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, so keep an eye on this space for more info on the matter.
