4MLinux Core, a mini Linux distro focusing on Maintenance (system rescue Live CD), Multimedia (e.g., playing video DVDs), Miniserver (using the inetd daemon), and Mystery (Linux games), is now at version 7.2.

As usual, the developer has integrated in 4MLinux Core 7.2 all the new features introduced in the previous versions. Users can also fully upgrade to 4MLinux Allinone Edition 7.2 when it becomes available. This particular version of the Core will also become the basis for all 4MLinux distributions.

The distribution is based on Linux kernel 3.10.17 and makes use of glibc 2.17, and Busybox 1.21.1. All the 4MLinux 7.1 applications have been compiled under Fedora 19 (x86/32-bit/SMP) with the GNU Compiler Collection 4.8.1.

A complete list of changes and new features for this Linux distribution is available in the official announcement. Download 4MLinux Core 7.2 right now from Softpedia.
