4MLinux Core 4.1 Officially Released

The upgrade process to 4MLinux Allinone Edition is now fully automatic

4MLinux Core, a mini Linux distro focusing on Maintenance (system rescue Live CD), Multimedia (e.g., playing video DVDs), Miniserver (using the inetd daemon), and Mystery (Linux games), is now at version 4.1.

4MLinux Core 4.0 integrates all the new features introduced in the previous version, with an additional possibility of a fully automatic upgrade to 4MLinux Allinone Edition, when it becomes available.

Highlights of 4MLinux Core 4.1:

· The possibility of a fully automatic upgrade to 4MLinux Allinone Edition has been added;
· Two different versions are available, one with GUI that requires 256MB of RAM, and one with TUI that requires 128MB of RAM;
· The automatic downloading and installing of some additional components, for example, Opera 12.02 and LibreOffice 3.6.2, is now possible.
