In December 2006, Mandriva released a 2GB USB flash driver with Mandriva Linux preinstalled, which was a huge success for them. Now they launched a bigger product, a 4GB USB flash driver that provides a live, full-featured, KDE-based Mandriva Linux 2007 operating system: "On this upgraded Mandriva Flash version, the space allocated to the system files can be chosen at first boot. This makes it possible to install more updates and additional packages, in response to user feedback we got on the initial version", said Olivier Blin (Leading Live Systems Developer at Mandriva).
