The San Francisco 49ers super fan shortened his religious duties for the love of NFL

It is hard to have two passions, you may find yourself in need of choosing between them and it can be quit hard. Take, for example, Pastor Tim Christensen, loved preacher in his Lutheran community and dedicated NFL fan that was caught between his two callings at the same time.

He couldn't disappoint his congregations and not show up for his service, but he also couldn't miss the game of his beloved team, so he decided to mix the two things by condensing his entire sermon in just one minute, for the audience's amusement.

“Would you all like to be forgiven of your sins? OK that's great, you are,” pastor Christensen told the people in his church before rumbling something else, telling them to “help themselves” with the bread and wine from the altar, and then rushed out to catch the game.

But right before that, he kissed his biceps and revealed to his congregation the 49ers jersey from underneath his holy robes and ran out while the entire church was laughing. Well, his faith kind of paid off as the San Francisco 49ers beat the Carolina Panthers and moved on to the next round.
