A woman from Bristol is complaining about her inability to get plastic surgery to look older. 47-year-old Anne Bolton says that looking half her age has only gotten her into trouble.

It ruined a marriage and two long term relationships, one of which was with a man 10 years her junior.

The main issue she has with men her age is the fact that they get jealous over the attention she gets from young boys.

“At first he loved it and complimented me on my appearance. He said he was proud to be with me. [...] But soon the looks from younger guys triggered arguments. But what could I do about it?

“Brian hated people asking if he was my dad or brother. I could see the way things were going again,” she added, talking about a man she had two children with.

She has another two kids from her marriage, and she is also a grandmother. Her oldest son is 25, and she often gets mistaken for his girlfriend when they take his daughter out.

She would never go out with him in public because girls would assume that they were a couple and he couldn't find a girlfriend.

Bolton notes that her female friends have distanced themselves from her because she would get compliments from their husbands.

When it comes to dating, she is never approached by men her age, who don't want to be criticized for dating a much younger woman. She is often asked out by men in their 20s, but she finds that they don't have the same interests.

“I don’t want to date a kid. I want a real man but men my age don’t want to date me. [...] I feel caught in a trap and I don’t know what to do,” she says.

Her girlfriends are also younger, which is not satisfying for the mother of four with a lot of responsibilities.
