Anonymous hackers published around 400 megabytes worth of data allegedly obtained from the breached servers of the US Army’s Intelligence Knowledge Network (IKN).

The Hacker News provided a couple of download links to the documents obtained by the hackers from the portal that allows intelligence soldiers from all over the world to communicate, collaborate and investigate.

It’s unknown if the hackers managed to breach ikn.army.mil, but the website is currently experiencing difficulties which may be an indication that its administrators are dealing with the incident.

However, after analyzing the published files, presumably obtained from IKN’s servers, we concluded that the information is publicly available on other websites. If the hackers really did manage to breach the US Army’s website they didn’t obtain anything important.

On the other hand, the claims could be fake.
