One more Reason - the best Reason

This day starts quite nice: the coffee's good and I have all the reasons to begin working with a smile; including the Reason 4. Indeed, the Swedish gang from Propellerhead (known as the Propellerheads) have made a very interesting announcement - one of their flagship world-acclaimed products, Reason, hits version 4.

Reason 4 comes not as any other new version of the coveted softwares, just adding in some new graphics and a couple of buttons: there has been quite a lot of stir and struggle in the Propellerhead labs as the new version of Reason brings the mighty Thor Polysonic synth, the RPG-8 arpeggiator, a real-time groove console - ReGroove Mixer and an advanced sequencer that has been completely rebuilt.

Reason 4 comes in English, French, German and... Japanese and it sports signature patches you can modify or play along with - a lot more fun and definitely a better way to start your Reason 4 early sessions
with pre-requisites from:

-Daniel Wang
-Morgan Geist
-Pascal Gabriel
-Plaid
-Richard Barbieri
-Richard Devine
-Sonic Boom
-Tipper
-Two Lone Swordsmen
-Gordon Reid
-Vengeance.

Reason 4 comes with a very handy new feature that will dramatically improve your workflow and will grant you faster and better experience with this amazing synth: the Tool Window will store for you the most frequently used tools - it will also grant direct access to creating new devices, tuning the sequencer data or adjusting your grooves.

According to official Propellerhead data, Reason 4 has entered the beta stage on June 19th and will most likely be released in 2-3 months as expected. Since the Swedish gang said that past beta stages went on for 8-10 weeks, it's likely that all bugs will be fixed during this period and we'll get to see a nifty new Reason at work.

The announced prices remain the same: $499 or EUR449, while upgrades cost $129/EUR99. The beta testing is open to all Reason owners.
