On May 14, with the season premiere of America's Got Talent comes a 4-minute preview of the much-anticipated film that aims to put Spidey back on the map post-Tobey Maguire.

The film is based on events from the early comics, which allowed Sony to have Andrew Garfield take over from Tobey Maguire in the legendary role.
“The Amazing Spider-Man” is not a prequel and it's not a spinoff; and, while Sony bosses would refrain from using the term “reboot,” it's precisely that.
It also stars Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans and Denis Leary, and will be out in 3D at the beginning of July.
