14 DAY TRIAL // Sony has confirmed some phenomenal new sales figures for the PlayStation 4 next-gen console, as over 4.2 million PS4 units have been sold as of December 28.
Microsoft surprised quite a few fans when it confirmed that, at the end of 2013, it had sold around 3 million Xbox One units.
Now, while many speculated that Sony's PS4 performed better thanks to availability in more regions and a lower price, the Japanese company has revealed some official figures right at CES 2014.
According to PlayStation boss Andrew House, via Twitter, as of December 28, 2013, over 4.2 million PS4 units have been sold worldwide.
These are some really impressive sales figures as, at the end of November, the company mentioned that 2.1 million units had been sold. As such, in just a month, Sony managed to double those figures.
