There are some chances that AT&T will release in the near future a 3G version of the HTC Vox smartphone. Although there are no official statements to support this, the information sounds pretty interesting, as it looks like the US market will be loaded with many 3G-enabled mobile phones in the future.

the Americans not satisfied with 3G network performances have also been supported by the low number of devices
released with support for this feature. The US version of the iPhone seems to be the only one without 3G, as it will add this feature when it hits the more capable European networks. Lately, more such mobile phones have been approved for future releases in the US, making HTC Vox/ Libra a promising possibility.
Rumors state that this device will arrive at AT&T soon after the release of HTC Tilt and Motorola's Q9 phone models. The Q9 has already hit the market, leaving one more device stand between the Vox's future release.
HTC Vox will provide all its evolved solutions to the user's business needs and reliable communication solutions. The most important aspect about it is that it will be 3G-enabled, pumping some life in the US' telecom network.
The
smartphone has a 2 megapixel camera with flash, capable for providing images of a fairly good quality, although the user should not expect something out of the ordinary. The phone also has a large 2.4 inch QVGA screen and comes packed with 128 MB of Flash and 64 MB of RAM. The phone also brings WiFi connectivity and microSD card support.
HTC Tilt will be released from AT&T on the 3rd of September. This means that, until that specific date, there are little to no chances of seeing the HTC Vox released from this same carrier.
