There are many items that make up a computer system and there are more that, while not essential, are still often found in users' households, such as headphones, like the ones Wicked Audio has now begun to sell.

It is a fairly common occurrence for a company or another form the IT segment to step into the spotlight and announce it is working on something or other, and then just not mention it again, sometimes for weeks and months, until then suddenly emerge again and start selling it.

Granted, leaks and rumors will often fill the time in between those two events, but the waiting is not made any easier, especially for highly anticipated products.

The Wicked Audio 3D Series headphones might not be the most revolutionary or hyped up product to grace the industry, but they did grab some attention back in January.

For those that do not remember, Wicked Audio put them on display at the 2011 edition of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

It is now revealed that sales have finally started in North America and other regions, the price for each pair being of $29.99.

This price is quite a few leagues below that of high-end, themed products, such as the True Blood V-80 Special Edition that V-Moda showed early last month (July, 2011).

The Wicked Audio 3D Series are supposed to combine the benefits of high quality sound and intensity with that of noise isolation, ensuring clarity in the process.

The other asset that Wicked Audio saw fit to implement is the variety of design, with three models being available, for now at least.

Prospective buyers will have to select between Airline, Hero and X-Ray, all of which have padded earcups and an adjustable headband, for comfort and ease of use.

“We are constantly looking for new ways to push the envelope with the designs of our headphones.” said Paul Marshall, VP of Sales, Empire Brands. “The 3D series offers a trend-setting option for our consumers that demand fashionable, unparalleled headphones.”
