Have you ever thought “I wish I could just throw away my underwear after I'm done wearing them, washing clothes is such a hassle?” Who hasn't? Thankfully, the good folks at Tamicare are thinking of you and have come up with a solution: disposable underwear, 3D printed disposable underwear, no less.

Granted, while it's easy to joke about it, the technology behind Tamicare's new product is quite impressive. The company has spent the past decade developing a method for cheaply and quickly printing out fabrics and they've pretty much cracked it.

A pair of disposable underwear can be printed in just three seconds and, of course, the fabric itself is suitable for all sorts of applications.

The big advantages of 3D printing apply to this material as well, as there are almost no stitches to speak of, and models can get quite intricate.

The company is starting out small, with the underwear and a line of compression bandages, but the applications of the technology, which it's dubbing Cosyflex, are virtually infinite.
