It will turn all those longboards into decorations while you're not using them

Some products take off through crowd-funding websites because they're ambitious and revolutionary. But others get funds, and then some, because there is a market.

And sometimes, the simpler an idea is, the better it sells. Such seems to be the case with the RACKITx. A 3D printed fixture that will let you mount your skateboard, or skateboards, on a wall.

It's a simple device really, if it can even be called a device at all. The small plastic knob affixed to your wall can be measured to fit any flat board and hold it firmly in place. All the while, there is no risk of damage to the wall or board, and you won't have trouble taking the board off when you need it.

It will definitely help not to stuff the boards in a corner or leave them around where you can trip or slip on them.

Admittedly, reasonably well-ordered households will not have too big a problem with this, but it can still be fun to put the board, or boards, up on a wall, especially if you've spent time beautifying them for whatever reason.

All in all, the RACKITx may well meet the $10,000 / €7,467 goal, even with the price of $15 / €11 (a bit steep for plastic knobs, but small compared to the funding goal figure). Especially with how popular 3D printing projects seem to be.
