eBay has released a free application which allows iPhone owners to customize select products and have them 3D-printed “to create exactly what you want.”

eBay has partnered with 3D printing experts Sculpteo, MakerBot, and Hot Pop Factory to select a range of special products (iPhone cases, figurines, jewelry etc.). You can edit the models on your iPhone using the Exact app and have them delivered to your door, customized to your own liking.

You can choose from a range of materials, including plastics, wood and even metals, as well as opt for an engraving feature for further personalization.

eBay markets the app saying, “Whether you love jewelry or figurines, eBay Exact allows you to create as many unique products, exactly as you like, based on your personal desires and preferences.”

eBay Exact requires iOS 6 and works with pretty much all iDevices currently in circulation.
