Wanting to start the week by pleasing consumers worldwide, Hyundai IT started off by introducing two monitors on the European market. What the two displays have over many of the other monitors out there are their 3D capabilities. The Korean manufacturer of liquid crystal displays built these monitors, the W220S and W240S, with the purpose of offering the ultimate in immersion and the full, and even increased, enjoyment of consumers' 3D games and other applications.

As such, the two displays were made large (W220S is 22 inch and W240S 24 inch), highly performing, fast and were given all the resources needed for them to offer the high-definition graphics capabilities that are the dream of any gamer or multimedia enthusiast.

Both LCD displays are built using polarized glasses and their contrast ratio is an impressive 1,000:1. The W220S features a native resolution of 1680x1050 pixels and a 5 ms response time, whereas its sibling, the W240S, has a maximum resolution of 1920x1200 pixels and a 6 ms response time. One can easily see that these displays are equipped with all the necessary features to easily take advantage of all the resources offered by any of the high-end graphics adapters currently on the market, and even those not yet released.

Hyundai truly lives up to its own standard of high-end LCD display manufacturer. Not only that, but the monitors also come with several added features. Both the W220S and the W240S come with two 3W speakers, as well as D-Dub, DVI and HDMI connectors for full accessibility and usability.

Set to start shipping in Europe, the monitors are available at the price of 500 EUR for the W220S and no less that 1,400 EUR for the high-end, exquisite W240S. Hyundai offers a three-year warranty on both models, increasing the convenience and satisfaction that would, in any case, be brought about by their acquisition.
